TERMS OF SERVICE

The deal between us and you.

Last updated May 14, 2026. By using this site or hiring us for work, you're agreeing to the basics below. Questions: (626) 335-2900.

Who's "we"

The basics.

"Glendora Window," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Glendora Window Inc., a California corporation with its shop at 1782 N White Ave, La Verne, CA 91750. "You" means anyone who visits this site or hires us to do work.

By using this site or doing business with us, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

Estimates

How quotes work.

Estimates are free and non-binding. Either side can walk away before work begins. An estimate becomes a contract only when you accept it in writing (text, email, or signature) and we confirm the scheduled work.

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. After that, material and labor pricing may have shifted and we may need to re-quote. We'll tell you if anything has changed.

If the actual work uncovers conditions we couldn't see during the estimate (rot behind a wood frame, asbestos in old caulk, a non-standard rough opening), we'll pause, show you what we found, and quote any change before continuing. No surprise billing.

Payment

When and how to pay.

For most residential jobs, we ask for a deposit (typically 50%) on materials when you accept the quote. The remainder is due upon completion of the work.

For larger or commercial jobs we may require a deposit on signing and progress payments at milestones. We'll spell out the schedule in writing before work starts.

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Established commercial customers may invoice on net 30 terms after the first job.

Past-due invoices accrue a service charge of 1.5% per month (18% APR) after 30 days. We'd rather not charge it; please pay on time.

Warranty

What we stand behind.

Workmanship: We warrant our labor for one year from the install date. If a window we installed develops a leak from our install, an IGU seal we replaced fails prematurely, a screen frame we built comes apart at the corner — we come back and fix it free.

Materials: Window units, glass, hardware, and similar products carry the manufacturer's warranty (typically 10-20 years on glass seals, 10+ years on vinyl frames). We'll provide the manufacturer's paperwork with the install. If a product fails under its warranty, contact us — we'll handle the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf during your first year, and after that we'll help you file directly.

The warranty doesn't cover damage from accidents (rocks, sports balls, vandalism), severe weather, paint over hardware, or modifications by another contractor. Glass is glass; it can be broken.

Limitations

The legal stuff.

To the extent allowed by California law, our total liability for any claim related to our work is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific job. We're not responsible for consequential or incidental damages (loss of use, alternative housing, lost business, etc.) unless they result from our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under California consumer protection law that can't be waived by agreement.

Disputes

If something goes wrong.

Talk to us first. Most issues we can resolve in a phone call. Call (626) 335-2900 and ask for the owner.

If we can't resolve it directly, these terms are governed by California law. The parties agree to attempt mediation in Los Angeles County before any lawsuit. If mediation doesn't resolve things, disputes will be resolved in California state or federal court in Los Angeles County.

You and we both waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action against the other party related to these terms.

Using the website

Website-specific terms.

The content of this website (text, photos, design) is owned by Glendora Window Inc. or licensed to us. You can read it, share links to it, and quote brief portions for reasonable purposes. You may not republish, copy, or distribute the content commercially without permission.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate but don't guarantee it's error-free. Pricing, availability, and lead times shown anywhere on the site are general estimates, not contractual offers.

If you submit information through the contact form, you certify it's accurate and you have the right to share it with us. Don't submit other people's contact info without their permission.

Changes

If these terms change.

We may update these terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site or business with us after changes are posted means you accept the new terms.

For active jobs already underway, the terms in effect when you accepted the quote apply through completion of that job.
