Glendora is one of our biggest service areas. We've worked on homes from South Hills to Citrus to the foothills above Sierra Madre Avenue, plus commercial properties along Foothill Boulevard and around Glendora Village. After 36 years, we've seen most of the housing stock — and we know the quirks.
A lot of Glendora's homes were built between 1955 and 1980 — ranches with original single-pane wood-framed windows, many of which are still in service. We repair the original hardware when we can, replace the IGU when the seal has failed, and only recommend full replacement when it actually makes sense.
The foothill sun is brutal on west-facing rooms. We've replaced a lot of those west-facing panes with low-E glass for Glendora homeowners and seen the AC bill drop noticeably. We can tell you which windows in your house benefit and which don't.
